This is a post directed at you the reader.  This is a simple test to help determine your story and the direction of it.  Are you ready- who is the author of your life story?  Please leave your answer in the comments section.  This is a survey I am doing and will in no way use your personal information, I am just conducting a study to further pursue.  Thanks for your time!

I am. Sure, God is sovereign, but unless I submit myself to Him moment by moment (a conscious act of 'authorship'), His perfect will is usually just potential. It's like when I was teaching my sons to write: I would put my hand on theirs as they held their pencil. When they would fight me, it would result in a mess, but when they would let go, relax, and learn, the desired story could be revealed. God often gives us the dangerous satisfaction, or embarrassment, of our choices to concede or not.

Good words Dwight- reminds me of a book by Brother Lawrence! Living in the present realm rather than dwelling in the past or lost in the future.
